Group Piano for Beginners
Group classes are a great way to introduce a student to playing an instrument.
Classes are a mix of group instruction and individual exploration on the keyboard with theory concepts enforced with fun games and written practice.

♫ - Appropriate for ages 5 to 7 Yrs. (must read simple sentences)
♫ - Group classes are naturally fun and encouraging. ♫ - Group classes encourage practicing because each student plays their song for the class each week. ♫ - Classes are small (max. 4 students), so students get a mix of one-on-one instruction and are encouraged to explore simple piano pieces independently, building confidence and skill. ♫ - In these classes, students will get experience the electric keyboard that will easily translate to performing on any piano. ♫ - Beginner students will be introduced to the concepts and fundamentals of performing on the piano, including: ♪ - Musical Staff (Treble & Bass Clef) ♪ - Musical Alphabet (Note Names and Staff Position) ♪ - Reading Music (Note Values and Rhythms) ♪ - Keyboard Recognition (Notes and Corresponding Keys) ♪ - Simple piano pieces performed for the class each week. |
